SIMILE: A simile is a figure of speech comparing two unlike things, often introduced with the words "like" or "as".Methaphor: A metaphor is an analogy between two objects or ideas, conveyed by the use of a word instead of another.
Personification: Personification is an ontological metaphor in which a thing or abstraction is represented as a person
Rhyme: A rhyme is a repetition of similar sounds in two or more words and is most often used in poetry and songs.
Rhythm: Rhythm is "Movement marked by the regulated succession of strong and weak elements, or of opposite or different conditions." While rhythm most commonly applies to sound, such as music and spoken language, it may also refer to visual presentation, as "timed movement through space."
