Poem:
Mother.
A mother is not just any someone
But one that cares for us
When no one else does
When our dreams are shattered
Hopes are scattered
She will be there to comfort us
Like an umbrella
Sheltering us from the rain
Not expecting any gain
A mother’s love cannot be measured
And should be treasured
And not be taken for granted
Many times we are rude
showing disrespect
thinking it is cool
But our mothers never take it to heart
forgiving and forgetting
never leaving a grudge.
Like a rose with thorns
Stern on the outside
Yet gentle on the inside
The things she does
The things she said
In me it will always remain
A mother’s heart is always true
And she never changes
The love she has for you.
