A tribute to my mother

Picture:

Description:
The diamond heart in the middle represents a mother's love being strong and beautiful, because, diamond is the strongest thing in the world and it is beautiful. The sun rays around it symbolises the mother's love being as powerful as the sun, and also, the sun provides us with wamth, just like how a mother's love would. The sun rays also show how the mother shines and lead her child into the right path (the grass), even in the darkness surrounding it. The purple beam (shield) surrounding the sun rays symbolises the way a mother would protect her child, it does not allow things it shouldn't into it, just like how a mother does not allow harm to come to her child.

Poem:
"Dear child, I love you."

A mother's love goes beyond.

A love as powerful as the sun,

A love as beautiful and strong as diamonds.

A love so warm that it melts your heart.

That is a mother's love.

For nine months,

I was in her.

For nine months,

she suffered for me.

All the nausea and cramps,

the weight gain and migrane,

she went through them all just for me.

But those were just nine months,

what was that to eternity?

The bond of a mother and child,

The unbreakable bond.

Indestructible, tied by blood,

but more importantly, tied by love.

She took good care of me,

and protected me from harm.

She taught me what's right or wrong,

and sang me comfy songs.

With my hand in hers,

she led me through the right path.

She works around the clock,

twenty-four hours a day,

seven days a week.

And what does she work as?

A super mum, I'd say.

I'm thankful for that, so I'd be good.

Oh, but there came rebel,

the natural stage we can't repel.

My voice grew louder,

to talk back to my mother.

"Oh mother, I hate you!"

the words came out too losely.

That did hurt- a lot in fact!

I said it out, but I then regret.

That line i said, was as meaningless as trash,

It isn't not true, and never will be.

I just want to say I'm sorry for that,

We'll stay together, so please forgive and forget.

"Yes mother, I love you too!"

That came straight right from my heart.

I love her, that is a fact.

It is true, and forever will be.

The special bond we have between,

more than just blood, but the love you give.

A love more powerful than the sun,

A love more beautiful , and stronger than diamonds,

A love so warm, it will melt your heart.

That is the love,

between a mother and her child.
